Surprisingly they have chosen to combine tracks from Deep Sea Dweller, Bubble Metropolis, Unknown Aquazone, Aquatic Invasion, The Journey Home, The Return of Drexciya and The Quest for this first release. ‘Aquatic Invasion’ also introduced fans to the first true visual representation of characters from their world. The striking image of two ‘Drexciyan Wavejumper Commandos’ was the first peek into the shadowy, marine world that is Drexciya. While still remaining very underground, 1995 was certainly Drexciya's breakthrough year as far as recognition goes with this EP, the Aquatic Invasion 12" on UR and the Elecktroids EP and album also on Warp.
